MyTripBuddy app for iPhone and iPad

The Allianz Global Assistance MyTripBuddy app gives you immediate access to medical information and support while you are travelling, especially internationally.

If you need to know where a hospital is, the international hospital directory enables you to view a list of hospitals by country. The hospital’s location is shown on a map, using GPS.

There is an easy to use medication dictionary, which helps provide you with the international names of any medication that you have. This name will enable the physician / pharmacy to advise you of the local name and provide you with details of an alternative drug.

There is a fully searchable first aid dictionary in many languages that provides helpful medical terms and tips.

This app is equipped with a full list of emergency contact telephone numbers for police, fire and ambulance services. Again, all of this is available by country.

My Trip Buddy also includes an RSS feed of interesting and up-to-date travel news related to all kinds of travel, provided by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
